What I help with

Trauma therapy for what still lives in the body

I work with people who are carrying experiences that still affect daily life, even if they try to move on. We can make space for what happened and for how it continues to show up now.

What people bring me

People often come because they feel jumpy, tense, shut down, or on edge in ways that do not make sense to them. They may be dealing with memories that come back suddenly, trouble relaxing, or a body that reacts before they can think. Some feel numb or disconnected, while others feel flooded by feelings they cannot turn down. It can affect sleep, relationships, school, work, and the ability to feel settled at all.

  • I feel like my body never got the message that it's over.
  • I react before I can think.
  • I can't stop replaying what happened.
  • I feel shut down a lot of the time.

We pay attention to the body, the story, and what feels safe enough to say.

How I work with it

I listen for how trauma lives in the body, in relationships, and in everyday reactions. We move carefully, with choice, and pay attention to what helps you feel present enough to stay with the work. For children and teens, I also keep caregivers in mind when that is part of the support they need.

What the first sessions look like

The first sessions are about learning what happened, what still feels active, and what helps you feel steadier. You do not have to tell everything at once, and you do not need to have the right words ready.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation. I reply as soon as I can, usually within 1-2 business days.

Questions people ask

Do I have to talk about everything that happened?

No. We decide together how much to say and how quickly to go, and there is no need to force details before you are ready.

What if I get overwhelmed when I talk about it?

That is important information for the work. We can slow down, notice what is happening in your body, and keep track of what helps you stay grounded.

Can trauma show up even if it was a long time ago?

Yes, people often come in because something from the past still affects them now. The focus is on what is happening in your life today as well as what came before.

Do you work with trauma in kids and teens too?

Yes, I work with children, teens, and young adults. With younger people, I pay attention to how safety, trust, and expression look at their age.
